Three times a day I threaten to write about my two little girls, but first a glass of some Vinho - a Pinot Noir from New Zealand.
Three times a day I take Mika and Maxi for a tour around the block. This is about the most frustrating of my chores - they don't walk - they read the Facebook, SMS, Orkut, BB messages, and my personal favourite the Twitter messages. Wondering what I am talking about?
A snail gets around the block faster than we do! So if anybody has a pet snail that needs to be walked - I will swop! The girls are currently not very co-ordinated they read different messages and usually they walk in opposite directions this means I look as if I have been nailed to a cross. For small little bodies they actually pull hard on my shoulders. Perhaps I will have them repaired only when we return to SA - can't afford to have them fixed and pulled off again! Will soon however need a 'right hand' to help me with certain movements. ;)
Anyway why on earth do 90% of the people living in our neighbourhood have male dogs. I can only picture their apartments with messages on every surface. You don't believe me, we got furniture from the Ministry once and every corner had bright orange smelly marks on each corner and then just sit with me in the pet shop sometime - every male lifts his leg up exactly 3 times - there are three corners near the till, and leaves a message - I mean it is indoors! Of course this drives the females ape! It's been raining men!
So back to the walk around the block - well I take them the same route in the hope that the messages will get old and ignored! Some hope. Taking them a different route means that time actually moves backwards! No joke! The Twitter messages are the worst - these are obviously plentiful and so are left on plants - you know those with many many leaves! Yes and each and every leaf has to be read! This of course means that I stand like a retard whilst they sniff each and every leaf! And don't even think about pulling he leash - they are like statues! And they look at me - I can even hear what they are thinking .... and I won't repeat here.
Anyway now I have really done it and I am sure they are going to give me an extra exciting walk now because I was on my Facebook and blogged instead of taking ThEm to catch up with their neighbourhood news!
